A fortnight has rushed past although it is such a tranquil and relaxing place. It was just wonderful to sit and watch the butterflies and the bumble bees, to watch the humming bird moths and listen to the birds and wild pigs. The walk to Cadouin is to be recommended - beautiful forests and we saw deer. We played tennis enthousiastically, if badly, and the pool was a delight.
Limeuil, Cadouin, Beynac and Sarlat are all lovely. I will miss the bread, cheese, charcuterie and wine (and the barbecues).

Our holiday has been truly memorable. We have loved every minute of it. We will have no hesitation in recommending "La Filolie" to our friends and relatives.

We have come to the end of a wonderful week at La Filolie, where we have spent a very happy holiday. The weather has been superb - lots of sunshine - and both the adults and children have enjoyed the swimming pool and tennis court. We all agree that the house is lovely - we sat for hours on the terrace enjoying the view.
